​Hi, I'm Sarah, owner of The Local Spark Art Enrichment Studio. With over 17 years of experience in education and enrichment, I am passionate about creating meaningful opportunities for children, families, and adults to learn, create, and connect.

Before opening The Local Spark, I spent 14 years as an elementary educator and Gifted & Talented Facilitator, designing hands-on learning experiences that encouraged creativity and curiosity. Inspired by a desire to provide more art and enrichment opportunities for my own daughter and our community, I opened The Local Spark to offer a welcoming space where creativity can flourish.

Today, The Local Spark provides art classes, camps, workshops, homeschool enrichment programs, and Open Studio experiences that help people of all ages explore their creativity, build confidence, and make lasting memories. I believe everyone is creative, and my goal is to create a place where people feel inspired, connected, and encouraged to shine.

When I'm not at the studio, you'll find me spending time with my husband, our kids, and our two Goldendoodles, while dreaming up new creative experiences for our community.
