Weekly Art Classes

 Our children's art enrichment program offers hands-on art activities like painting, drawing, collage making, mixed-media, printmaking, clay, 3D sculpture, up-cycled art, paper mâché and crafting. 

 

The Local Spark's 2026-2027 school year class sessions offered are...

10:30-11:30pm Fall Fashion Design 

Young designers will create fall fashion pieces while

exploring color, texture, and creative design.

Ages 7 and up

12:15-1:15pm Foundations in Drawing & Watercolor 

Learn the fundamentals of drawing and watercolor painting

 Ages 8 and up

2-3pm Mixed Media Level 1

Creating artwork using a variety of media including

paint, collage, drawing, paper mâché and crafting

Ages 6 and up

4-5pm Craft Club

Makers will explore a variety of art materials while creating

festive hands-on holiday and seasonal crafts!

Travel through art history as we discover famous artists, explore their unique styles

and techniques, and create your own masterpieces inspired by the masters.

Ages 6 and up

Learn the fundamentals of drawing. 

Ages 7 and up

10:30-12:00pm Meet the Masters

Explore the art of clay through hand building techniques like pinch, coil, and slab construction as students sculpt, texture, and glaze unique ceramic creations to be kiln-fired and treasured.

Ages 6 and up

4:15-5:15pm Mixed Media Level 2 

Creating artwork using a variety of media including

paint, collage, drawing, paper mâché and crafting -more advanced technique

Ages 8 and up

11-12:00pm 3-D Sculpture

Artists will study the element of art "form" as they learn to build, balance, and design sculptures that occupy real space using a variety of materials such as clay, paper mâché, wire, and found objects.
